Why Not?

Your current (aw shocks!) president will be given the honor of the distinguished Frank Hara Community Service Award from the Filipino group by the Asian-Pacific American Society (APAS). To deserve such an honor, he will also take the obligation of breathing new life into the Philippine-American United Council of Louisiana (PAUCLA) as an appointed incoming president (by the madlang people we suppose)

Please let us support him (ME).

Filipino History in Louisiana

In the evening, there will be GALA CELEBRATION @6PM in the Grand Ballroom of Airport Hilton Hotel in Kenner

On Oct. 9, there will be historical marker trip to Lafitte. To make the trip more purposeful, there will be a mass celebration 11AM.

Louisiana was one of the first settlement of the filipinos in the US after Hawaii. There is a great influence in the fishing industry to the region especially in the preservation of shrimp. Delacroix Island was believed to be named by Filipinos (Dela Cruz) which was then made francaise just like GEAUX SAINTS!
